Printing: Printed digitally by Boyds Direct, a local printer and mailhouse. By using a combined printer and mailhouse, we eliminated the shipping that normally occurs between the two separate steps.
More:We designed this invitation as a self-mailer to greatly reduce the amount of paper usually used on outer envelopes. To further reduce paper, we requested RSVP by email only, which eliminated a reply card completely. By eliminating outer envelopes and reply cards, we saved the company over $600.
Before printing, we carefully scanned our mailing list for duplicates and updated old addresses. By doing so, we avoided printing more than we needed and decreased the amount of returned mail.
